Theodore Rockwell, DMD

     Dr. Theodore Rockwell attended California University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. As an undergraduate student, Dr. Rockwell completed and presented research in microbiology on the bacteria that cause tooth decay and the effects of oral rinses on them. 
     After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Rockwell attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors. 
     After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Rockwell was chosen to attend a General Practice Hospital-based Residency at West Virginia University School of Dentistry and West Virginia University Hospitals in Morgantown, West Virginia. 
     Dr. Rockwell joined the Pennsylvania Army National Guard during his third year of Dental School, transferred to the Air National Guard in 2006, and is retired from the Air Force as of June 30, 2021. He is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, where he served with the Marines as part of an Army Medical Company. Prior to beginning practice in Warren County, Dr. Rockwell practiced in Knox, Brownsville, Clarion, and Brookville in  Pennsylvania, as well as Concord, Plymouth, and Suncook in New Hampshire. He also practiced at the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. 
     In 2006, Dr. Rockwell became the Director of the Crescent Park Dental Clinic at Warren General Hospital, where he remained until opening his private practice in North Warren in 2018.
     He has earned many military awards including several Meritorious Service Medals. He was also elected to and is a member of the International College of Dentists.
     Dr. Rockwell is a member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Dental Association and is the Trustee for the Pennsylvania Dental Association for our local Eighth District for the term running from 2021-2024.
     Dr. Rockwell is very enthusiastic about continuing education and takes many continuing education courses from various institutions, including the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland.
